A tropical storm watch is in effect for parts of Long Island ahead of Hurricane Jose, which is expected to stay out to sea but still deliver punishing rains, rough surf, wind and beach erosion to the area. Trever Arnold was captured by Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office deputies Monday night and was taken to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office jail. Arnold was wanted on charges of burglary and theft.
